Good to Know

All-Inclusive Safari Questions

How much does a Tanzania safari cost?

As sample prices for travel June–October 2027: $10,916 for the 7-day route, $14,580 for the 10-day route and $23,501 for the 13-day route — each for 3 travelers (2 in a double room, 1 in a single) — and $10,332 for our 6-day Honeymoon Safari for 2 travelers. All include a private 4×4 with guide, all park fees, accommodation, all meals, soft drinks and wine, and airport transfers. Prices change with the month you travel, so tell us your month and group size and you receive a personal fixed-price quote within 24 hours.

How far ahead should I book?

For peak season (June–October, the Great Migration, and the December holidays) the best lodges and camps are commonly booked 9–12 months ahead, so planning for 2027 now gives you the widest choice. Short-notice requests are possible too — as a local team we see lodge availability in real time.

What's included in the price?

Your private 4×4 safari vehicle with a professional English-speaking guide, all park and crater fees, every night’s accommodation as listed, all meals from arrival to departure, soft drinks and wine, and airport transfers. International flights are booked separately, and your exact quote itemises everything so there are no surprises.

How do I pay, and is a deposit required?

A deposit secures your dates and the balance is due before travel. Prices are in US dollars — the standard currency for Tanzanian safaris — so there's no exchange-rate guesswork. We'll confirm exact figures and payment options in your quote.

Can you change these itineraries?

Absolutely — that's the point. Every safari we run is tailor-made. Add Zanzibar, upgrade lodges, add a hot-air balloon over the Serengeti, or combine two itineraries. Choose the number of days you want and tell us your dream and budget, and we'll design around it. Extras are optional and added only if you want them.

Is an all-inclusive safari really all-inclusive?

On the packages above, the price covers your private 4×4 and guide, all park and crater fees, every night’s accommodation as listed, all meals from arrival to departure, soft drinks and wine, and airport transfers. International flights, your visa, travel insurance (including Tanzania’s mandatory inbound policy), tips and personal items are not covered, and optional extras such as a balloon flight cost more. Your quote lists exactly what is in and what is not.

Is Tanzania safe for first-time visitors?

Tanzania is one of Africa's most stable and welcoming countries, and safari tourism is its flagship industry. You're met at the airport by our team, travel in our vehicle with our guide throughout, and have 24/7 support from our Arusha office.
